Playboy released various one shot or short series magazines for distribution at magazine newsstands, such as Lingerie, Wet and Wild, College Girls, et ectera. Trading card sets based on these magazines were released by Stellar Collectibles after January 1, 2000. Newsstand editions were released while Playboy was unwilling to release additional Centerfold Collectors cards editons after 1993, a position that was eventually reversed with the first Update edtion. While never quite as popular as Centerfold Cards, they do have a following, particularly among completist collectors. Where can you find these cards?-- Most people visiting this site probably already have sources, but in the links section you will find dealers, I am one of them, and although the number of adult card dealers has been shrinking since 1996, base sets and some chase cards are easy to find, other chase cards, particularly memorabilia or swatch cards, can be difficult to get.
